Andrew Christopher Dispensa was born in Yorktown Heights, New York. In his early youth he developed a passion for film, basketball and his heritage, thanks to his loving parents. After high school he attended Elon University, where he graduated with a BA in Cinema Production and a minor in Italian Studies. It was at Elon where he took his first acting class and began acting in his fellow film majors productions.
After teaching English for a year in Rome, he was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a 2 year drama conservatory. Upon graduating, he went on to work with the Academy's Company for their 2014-2015 season.
